LinkedIn Community Guidelines

These community guidelines outline how we engage on LinkedIn, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain a respectful and professional environment for all participants. They apply to interactions on our company page and to employees’ LinkedIn activity when representing or identifying with Asamedic.

These guidelines comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), EU pharmaceutical marketing rules, and applicable Norwegian laws. Asamedic operates in a regulated industry and applies specific limitations to some discussions.

1. Medical Advice and Product Mentions

  • Posts of this nature may be removed to comply with regulations and protect your privacy.

2. Safety Reporting and Product Complaints

  • Do not report side effects or product complaints via LinkedIn.
  • Contact your healthcare provider or use official channels listed on asamedic.com.
  • We may remove posts disclosing adverse events to protect confidentiality and redirect communication appropriately.

3. Respectful and Appropriate Participation

  • We encourage open dialogue but may remove posts that:
    • Include vulgar, offensive, discriminatory, or harassing language
    • Promote violence or illegal behavior
    • Spread misinformation or unsupported medical claims
    • Contain personal health information or identify others without consent
    • Are promotional, spam, or off-topic
    • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or share confidential/proprietary content
  • Users who repeatedly violate these standards may be blocked.

4. Privacy and GDPR Compliance

  • Avoid sharing personal information (your own or others’) in comments or messages, especially health-related data.
  • Asamedic complies with GDPR and only collects/processes personal data where legally required.
  • Information posted on LinkedIn is also subject to LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy.

5. Employee Use of LinkedIn

  • Employees representing Asamedic must:
    • Act professionally and follow these community standards
    • Refrain from unauthorized product promotion
    • Never disclose confidential company or patient information
    • Clarify when views are personal, not company positions
  • Only authorized spokespersons may publish official company statements or comment on products.

6. Moderation and Disclaimers

  • We strive to review and moderate content in a timely manner but may not respond to all comments.
  • Posts may be removed without notice if they violate guidelines or regulations.
  • Interaction with third-party accounts does not imply endorsement.
  • Content is for general information only and may not reflect the latest developments.
  • Nothing on our LinkedIn page constitutes financial, legal, or medical advice, or an invitation to invest.
